Organic Ceylon cinnamon powder 50g

The Ceylon cinnamon of the BDL company, is a small evergreen tree that grows in Sri Lanka, it is very aromatic, pleasant, spicy and sweet. Its aroma is sweet and reminiscent of cloves and vanilla. It has antioxidant and antimicrobial activity. It is a source of nutrients such as iron, magnesium, calcium and fiber. Ceylon cinnamon is often confused with the common cassia cinnamon (Cinnamonum Cassia) grown in China and Indonesia. Their main difference lies in the content of coumarin (a natural toxic substance). Ceylon cinnamon contains a smaller amount of coumarin than regular cassia cinnamon and can therefore be consumed without fear.
